The Billboard Music Awards is by far one of the highest anticipated music events of the year. Performers such as Nikki Minaj, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber, Miguel (Did you see that fall?), Ed Sheeran, and the Purple Prince, took to the stage, serenading audience members with their catchy melodies and unique vocal styles. While we may have been completely enamored with what was seen on stage, what happened off stage also deserves its rounds of applause. With any star studded event, it is always a fashion parade, each A-Lister a walking canvas for the design of their choice. Check out the slide show below for some of my top picks from the blue carpet, and make sure to look out for our favorites and see how you can GET THE LOOK!
Rocking these red canvas sneaks today. They are comfy and are a cute accent if you are looking for a pop of color. Can be worn with shorts, jeans, and even skirts and dresses. These are a great summer shoe for all of your casual occasions.
I'm loving these shoes so much, I decided to style an outfit based off of them.
Here is a look I'd like to call Red Sea. It's classic nautical flare with a fiery splash of red.
The promo pictures for the newest season of DWTS have been released, and Zendaya looked stellar in her sequined sweetheart dress. (See story here!) After scouring the interwebs, I finally found a dress that I believe captures the essence of the one Zendaya wore. Sherri Hill has a magnificent collection of dresses, for all occasions. If you love glitz, glitter and glam, then there is sure to be a look to suit you!
From the dance floor, to the screen, to the studio, to the dance floor again. No doubt Zendaya knows how to "shake things up." This Disney starlet has proven she has all the right moves. Z's newest project proves to up the ante in the world of dance, as she is now a contesant on the hit ABC show, Dancing With The Stars. Dancing alongside pro dancer Val Chmerkovskiy she is ready to dazzle the dance floor. A fashionista in her own right, not only are we ready for the inspiring dance moves, we are excited to see what stellar fashions she will be gracing the DWTS stage in.

All the rage, color blocking seems to be the hottest trend since bell bottom jeans. From Paris runways, to daring college fashionistas, the color blocking trend is striking more than color chords. Solids with loud non-matchy color coordinations can sometimes be confusing and seem contradictory to the "rules" of fashion. Like, who said I can't wear white after Labor day? However, if there is anything that I must say, it is this. Fashion is an expression. All in all, Fashion is art, so therefore express. It is about experimenting with different tastes and styles to find your own. Yet, in the spectrum of fashion (punny eh?) here are some tips on how to pop and block successfully :) Who said being loud was a bad thing?
1. Don't be afraid of BRIGHT colors! This fashion just lights up!
2. Pairing colors that are close in proximity or in shade is a good start
3. To begin contrasting, colors that are positioned directly across from one another work well
4. When blocking 3 or more colors, it helps to have the darkest color on the bottom, then allow for the top two colors to mesh.
5. These are not rules, just tips to how colors can go together :)
6. Mix it up and have fun!!
When it comes to colorblocking, just GO WITH IT. Don't be afraid to try something new. If it doesn't work out, mix and match until you find the look that fits you!
